for our church so, at the age of 11, I started playing the bass guitar along with her. I also played for my school in the school's jazz and rock band. About 15 years ago I started playing the upright bass in local bluegrass bands. Some of
the bands that i have played for are: The Taylor Ridge Band, the Ringgold Gap band, and the Perri Suits and the Third Degree band, just to name a few.
My major influences were Victor Wooten, Lynard Skynard, Molly Hatchet, Merle Haggard, III Tyme Out, Ronnie Bowman, Lonesome River Band, Mountain Heart, and many, many more others.
I would like to say " Thanks" to Steve & The Sleepin' Hounds for taking me under their wing and helping me get caught back up on music.
A very, very much needed " Thank You " needs to go to Mom for taking two small hands, and an open mind, and shaping them into a musician, and for giving me a love for music that will last a lifetime!
